The sophomore album (2017) from multi-genre saxophonist Adrian Crutchfield, who has toured/recorded with legendary artists including Lionel Richie, Bette Midler, Ceelo Green, Anthony Hamilton, and most notably as the last saxman to tour and record with Prince.
Leap was inspired by a conversation in which Prince encouraged Crutchfield to continue to put out his own music. "Sometimes you have to take a Leap for yourself" is what Prince quoted when Crutchfield expressed concern about success as an artist. This conversation led to Adrian Crutchfield's transition (and return) from sideman to artist.
